Colorful photo booth prop signs ready for the party

Forney has been the official "Antique Capital of Texas" since 1987, but these days it's just as known for new neighborhoods, packed school calendars and big family gatherings. Chivo Event Services brings photo booths to Forney birthdays, weddings, quinceañeras, graduations and company parties, and because Forney is in Kaufman County, there's never a travel fee.

Here's everything you need to know to add a booth to your next Forney party.

Packages (3 hours)

Every package includes delivery, setup, an attendant and a backdrop. Add-ons: prints up to 200 ($250), keychain station up to 100 ($250), extra hour ($150). Or add all three to the Digital iPad or DSLR booth with the Party Pass for $550 (a $650 value; not available with the 360 booth).

No travel fees in Forney or anywhere in Dallas, Rockwall, Kaufman, Ellis, Henderson and Van Zandt Counties.

Forney's venue scene ranges from glassy, modern halls to waterfront estates, and we can set up at venues like these:

The Delanie is a modern venue with an outdoor ceremony space and a glass-walled reception hall, roomy enough for a large wedding guest list and a booth corner.

The Ritz on Buffalo Creek is a five-acre waterfront estate with ponds, fountains and chandeliers, and offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony options. A DSLR booth with a black and gold glitter backdrop feels right at home here.

The Legacy Event Center is a flexible, multi-purpose space that works well for baby showers, birthday parties, banquets and smaller receptions.

Planning something more casual? The Family Recreation Pavilion at Forney Community Park can be reserved for private parties. Our booth needs to be within 25 feet of a power outlet and out of high heat and bad weather, so a covered pavilion with power access is a good fit. And, of course, a lot of Forney's favorite parties happen in the backyard or the neighborhood clubhouse, and we bring the same setup there.

Forney's party calendar

Forney knows how to throw a community party. Forney Falloween takes over downtown each October with candy stations, crafts and games, and Christmas on Main brings holiday vendors and family fun to downtown in December. If you're hosting a fall birthday, a holiday open house or a December office party around those dates, a photo booth keeps the festive feeling going. And Antique Row along U.S. 80 is a reminder of the town's antique-hunting roots and a fun spot for vintage décor finds for your event.

Booth ideas for Forney parties

  • Weddings: Give guests a reason to leave the dance floor (for a minute), and keep a gallery of everyone who came.
  • Quinceañeras: A booth is a natural gathering spot for the court, and glitter backdrops look great in photos.
  • Birthdays: Kids' parties, Sweet 16s and milestone birthdays all get a lot of mileage out of a booth.
  • School events: Proms, banquets, graduation parties and class celebrations.
  • Corporate events: Team parties, customer appreciation nights and grand openings for Forney's growing business community.
  • Holiday parties: Office Christmas parties, family gatherings and New Year's Eve.

FAQ

Can the booth go in my backyard? Yes, as long as it's within 25 feet of an outlet and in a spot that's shaded from high heat and protected from bad weather. A covered patio or garage often works well. Being in Wi-Fi range is preferred.

Can I add prints to the 360 Booth? Prints, keychains and extra hours can be added to the 360 Booth individually, but the $550 Party Pass bundle is only offered with the Digital iPad and DSLR booths.

Can you set up at The Delanie or The Ritz on Buffalo Creek? Yes, at venues that allow outside vendors. We handle delivery and setup ourselves and need a spot within 25 feet of an outlet.

Can we have a booth at a Forney Community Park pavilion party? Yes, if you've reserved the pavilion and there's power within 25 feet. The booth also needs shade and protection from the weather.

Do you charge travel fees? No. There are no travel fees anywhere in Dallas, Rockwall, Kaufman, Ellis, Henderson and Van Zandt Counties.

What do you need at the venue? A spot within 25 feet of a power outlet. Wi-Fi is preferred. Outdoors works too, as long as the booth is out of high heat and bad weather.

How do I reserve my date? A $100 non-refundable deposit holds your date, and the balance is due 7 days before your event. We take cash, card or Zelle.
